About the programme

Healthy Hearts is a movement to music health and well-being programme that promotes a positive life style for ages 60+. The programme allows participants to combat social isolation from across the Bradford district by providing opportunities through physical activity for improved health and mobility. The programme consists of a 45 minute movement class which specifically focuses on improving muscle strength, core stability, co-ordination, balance and motivation followed by a social gathering that encourages participants to interact, befriend and engage in positive community cohesion. Our 45 minute class currently utilises equipment such as resistant bands, heart rate monitors, exercise balls and cool gadgets to compliment the gentle seated exercise.
